Explosion-Proof Actuator with Supervision
UL HazLoc, ATEX, and IECEx certified for use in hazardous gas environments. Accommodates systems with operating pressures up to 300 bar.
The explosion-proof actuator with supervision is uniquely designed as a top-mounted linear actuator and does not act as a pressure vessel on the discharge valve, reducing the number of potential of leak points in the system. The integrated supervisory feature provides fully engaged installation detection and eliminates the need for an additional supervisory component and electrical connection. Due to special design features and material grade selection, the actuator acts as its own enclosure.

Simplifying Hazardous Location Fire Suppression Systems
The Explosion-Proof Actuator with Supervision is UL HazLoc, ATEX, and IECEx certified and acts as its own enclosure, eliminating the need for additional components.
TLX designs custom actuation for fire suppression systems, balancing certification, performance, and long-term reliability in every component, including:
Regulatory Compliance
Engineering expertise to help achieve UL, FM, CE, LPCB, & VdS certifications and listings, with compliance designed in from the first concept.
Complex Environments
Optimization of actuators and valves for applications requiring high pressure and high speed, from inert gas systems at 300 bar to hazardous locations.
Advanced Security
Fully engaged installation detected through integrated supervisory component as required. Designed to safeguard against tampering.
Increased Performance
Designed to handle various actuation force requirements across agent types and system pressures. Durable components can be reset after activation for future use.
Limiting Power Consumption
Latching technology utilized to minimize overall power consumption, holding the ready state for years on standby without drawing continuous current from the panel.
Custom Configuration
Interfacing options available to meet system dimensional differences. Optional manual actuation assembly and reset tool attachment.
